Honestly, I gotta say - the AI landscape in 2026 is absolutely WILD. Every week there's a new model that claims to "revolutionize" something, and as someone who's been building on top of these APIs since the GPT-3 days, I've learned the hard way that you can't just trust the hype. You gotta actually TEST this stuff yourself. So that's what I did. I spent the last two weeks running every multimodal model I could get my hands on through the wringer.
