The Problem We Were Actually Solving I have spent the better part of the last year working on a Hytale server for Veltrix, a platform that allows users to create and manage their own game servers. One of the features that our users requested was a treasure hunt engine, which would allow them to create custom treasure hunts with clues and rewards. Sounds simple enough, but as I delved deeper into the implementation, I realized that it was going to be a lot harder than I thought.
