The Problem We Were Actually Solving What we were trying to solve was a classic "needle in a haystack" problem: making it possible for players to discover hidden treasures within the vast virtual world of Hytale. Sounds simple, but the reality was far from it. We needed a sophisticated search engine that could efficiently find and rank potential treasure locations based on various factors such as player behavior, game narrative, and spatial reasoning.
