I ran an experiment to see how well popular AI image detectors identify realistic images generated by ChatGPT. Specifically used ChatGPT image 2 for this. tested 50 realistic AI-generated images using three AI image detection platforms: TruthScan Sight Engine Hive Moderation I tested two image categories, realistic selfies and images of war zones.
