In 2023 I made a custom GPT that generated image sequences frame-by-frame and stitched them into GIF animations. Back then the consistency between frames was pretty rough, but with the image 2.0 update it is soo good now in understanding motion and time sequences. It still makes weird mistakes sometimes. Feels very different from polished AI video generation, like old internet GIF / animation culture.
