For two years, I've bounced between tools - ChatGPT, Claude, various open‑source experiments. I'd tell myself each new one was the one. Then, inevitably, I'd hit the same wall: Every morning, I'd open the chat and be a stranger again. No memory of yesterday's debugging session. No recognition that I always want in UTC. No idea that I'd already spent three hours chasing that exact bug last week. We've normalized this amnesia.
