Generating consistent keyframes for video clips to edit into a short video

I've been burning days trying to figure some of this stuff out with YT and chatgpt but I'm pretty stumped. I posted a question about wan video the other day and got some good advice. Hoping the community can point me in the right direction again. Detailed advice or specific comfyui workflows would be great but really I want overall concepts and general pointers.
